濟州Handamnuri Guest House (Jeju Handamnuri Guest House)

It was a nightmare having booked this place. I was to join the annual jeju olle walking festival spo I picked this guesthouse which was by one of this year's festival course 15. I checked in without being told I had to attend their house party at night or else I would have to pay a penalty of 5K/night. The 2nd night, returned from the 1st day of the Walk, a lady came to my room told me the terms to stay in the room. I told her it was not on the booking site or on the booking confirmation. She said she would talk to the booking agent. The third night, after the 2nd day of the Walk, I had a message from the booking agent that the guesthouse requested a payment of 5K/night. Even I leave right away I still have to pay for the nights I stayed. I have no idea who forgot to put down this 'important' clause on the booking site and wondered why they have put the blame on me. I was told ONLY on the 2nd night and I had no idea how they come up with 5K/night. Anyway, being negotiated until after midnight with the booking agent who promised to come up with a positive solution, I went for the last day of the Festival, in a terrible physical status. I had sleepless night thinking if I had to find a place to stay for the weekend. 😖. Eventually I could stay without paying extra, but they have already spoilt my holiday which should be fun and interesting.
